Eurocom Link Layer Converter allows to change link layer protocol in trunk group or loop group bit stream, between classic (short delay) link layer protocol and long delay link layer protocol. Classic link layer protocol may be used on trunk/loop links with delay less than 3 ms. Long delay link layer protocol (based on LAPB) extends link delay up to 800 ms. Converter support signaling messages for both trunk group and loop group.
