Gateway ISDN-IP (GII) is a low-cost VoIP gateway, allowing 30 simultanous voice connections (vidocalls as option).
GII is conncted to ISDN network by PRI interface (E1 2Mbit/s).
DSS1 (Q.912/Q931) protocol and electrical interface G.703/120Ω is utilized.
At IP side, GII uses H.323 family protocols. GII uses H.323 Gatekeeper or dedicated directory server for telephone numbers translation.
GII is made of microcomputer with Linux operating system and specialized peripherial cards for
ISDN PRI controller and DsP based voice codecs.
