Digital signal processing, implemented in programmable logic devices

    Telecommunication applications requiring high processing speed (for example: high speed digital transmission), can be implemented in programmable logic devices. Our company has developed number of modules for digital signal processing, designed for implementation in ALTERA FPGA programmable logic devices.

Broadband FM modulator

   Complete binary FM modulator (256…2304kbit/s) for digital signal transmission implemented in DSP technique. The device has two serial inputs: data and clock. Output consists of digital samples modulated on intermediate frequency. The modulator need only to be connected to fast DAC and simple analog filter.

Broadband FM demodulator

   Complete binary FM demodulator (256…2304kbit/s) for digital signal reception implemented in DSP technique. Demodulator's input is ADC converted signal (on 10.7 MHz standard intermediate frequency carrier). All receiver functions (filtering, demodulation, clock recovery) are implemented in demodulator core. Demodulator's output consists of serial data and recovered clock bus.

Broadband QAM modulator

    Complete multilevel QAM modulator for fast ( 9.216 Mbit/s) digital transmission, implemented in DSP technique. The device has two serial inputs: data and clock. Output consists of digital samples modulated on intermediate frequency. The modulator need only to be connected to fast DAC and simple analog filter.

Broadband QAM demodulator

    Complete multilevel QAM digital receicer (9.216 Mbit/s), implemented in DSP technique. Demodulator's input is ADC converted signal (on 10.7 MHz standard intermediate frequency carrier). All receiver functions (filtering, demodulation, clock recovery) are implemented in demodulator core. Demodulator's output consists of serial data and recovered clock bus.
